I just had a game with 9 bots, they all met in mid and fought. If they did not die they ran back to base. Why do we have to play this way LOL. Can't you do something.

I have played at least 7 ARAM games in the past 2 days. I've had at least one bot in each one (on my team or the other team). It is really unfair for he tam to have it where you are having to deal with bots. It feeds the other teams, and overpowers specific players that can get to that point. When you have an ADC doing 500+ damage at level 10, that can be a problem. Or Fiora becoming so overpowered that she has 50+ kills by the end of the game because you have 3 bots (that game only lasted 10-15 minutes). I like ARAM, but I am becoming frustrated that I am failing at games that should not even be there in the first place. I don't know if there are any solutions right now, however, I'd like to get some sort of resolution. For me, I have gold standing in wins, but everything else in in platinum, and it is clearly because of games that have bots in them. This hurts many players scores and abilities to play and be honored , and I hope that RIOT figures this out.

Looks like new botting software is out. Just played ARAM, and only 1 other human. Check out the identical item and order builds. Bet if Riot checked IPs, they would all be from the same. screenie here

If you've got any suggestions other than IP banning all of them (because that would also affect a number of college students, I'd imagine), Riot would love to hear it.

Riot Games should Identify these botters, and funnel them into a botter's queue where all of their progress resets after every game. Forever summoner level 1, no ip or xp, nothing. Keep botter's accounts forever trapped in this special queue.

they should just be kicked, as letting them play a game let alone JUST logging on creates log in queues and lag as well as DDOS attacks. That's why we have log in queues now. What they could do for a while is make the ready check contain like 4 random characters to type in or a phrase. It may also block drunk people. As a game company you do not want bots playing live games on your server.

Well, many of them to follow specific actions and buy specific items. There (for me so far) seem to be 2 types. One is like a suicidal bot ad one is like a pusher bot. Anyways, a good example is many, if they get to base will put a ward exactly off the side of an inhibitor, mid usually, and they dont have teleport. RIOT could just flag any account that does this precise placement for like 5 games. Banned. Ets simple. There are probably a million tells like when they buy stuff, where they go, the fact they dont talk. Etc.

These are not like learning AI, like deep mind because with that they would be pro in like 1 month. These are just following a specific pattern. Like Varus, he buys 4 daggers. Ok great, hes 0/12 ....

The best suspected bot I have seen was tonight. It was Elise. It pushed all fucking game, in mid and was super annoying. My team had 2 bots. But you would go to kill her she was rappel out and not even go back and push more, or if she backed would come right back to push. very very annoying and slippery. On more slippery champs it could be so annoying. And if someone wanted to make a yummi bot you would not even have to tell it where ot move, just seek out X player, if low on health, heal etc....

What kind of software control this bots like they do? isn't this a hack essentially? I was going to post the players name (a lot have # in them) but then a search through the forum I found the issue to be common. If the game is hackable and bots can be programmed, doesn't it mean that the fog can be removed and they can see everything? I literally had a moment where the bot knew I was in the bush (ARAM, no sight seeing) and i was obliterated.

I think its more like scripts. The bot says object here, champion there. and has a very rudimentary set of if this than that instructions. They are terrible so they dont seem to be like the newer ai stuff that learns. Its just XYZ input respond with ABC like a person would but, badly.

Just played a few aram games. Man, what a problem this has become. Whats the reasoning for this now? before because they want the perks of getting champs they invite to certain level so they can get stuff. I say just get rid of all incentives. This game is popular enough that word of mouth suffices.

Ya....haven't seen this many bots since just before they stopped doing the refer a friend program. After that virtually all bot activity stopped. I have no idea why all this resurgence of bots all of a sudden is happening. It's total crap when Your ADC or your tank that you depend on runs straight in and feeds the enemy like 28 kills in a row until the game ends.

Well done Riot 5 vs 2 in Aram as 3 are bots. Why don't you just tell us to leave the game rather then make a waste of time out of every game. Do you think this look good in my match history. At least balance the bots. How can 2 balance a full compliment of 5. Do the maths I think it's simple. A big applause to your common sense or rather naive sense of humor.

and you know what Riot, I haven't seen one decent reply from you on these posts. What can't you say we are right and we will fix this.

see this present game RIOT, 4 bots in 1 team - WOW against 3 humans. Aram used to be a nice game, not anymore.

I refuse to play this game from now until RIOT email me to tell me they are doing anything about it. I have even sent bug reports with summoner names in to get them to delete the accounts, haven't heard anything from them. I don't understand why people playing this game want to ruin it for everyone else, I hope they end up playing in a team with their own bots and see what it's actually like...

If I want to play in a game with bots I will create a custom game and play with/against those... at least those actual have some intelligence to them

How about offering the people creating the bots a job at riot, then when they get there you just delete their accounts and send them on their way, waste their time the same way they are wasting everyone else's...

you want RIot to email you personally, and report to you ? You want Riot to lay a game, where they face bots ? You are aware they are not Riot bots. right ? The ones you play against in a custom game, ARE Riot bots. They are not humans, they cant get jobs, they are bots. If you mean the developer of the Bots, its most likely 1 dude and a zillion downloads of the script, and they are probably in China. So there is that.
