Pre-Season Flex Queue is broken....STILL

I went 6-4 in my promos and got placed silver 2. I thought it was no big deal. I played all these placements with my friend who was plat 5 just like me. And he got ranked Gold 3. I played and climbed to Gold 5. The patch came out where they fixed queue matchmaking "Fixed". I played the one placement and got SET BACK TO SILVER 2. My friend played his one placement and WENT UP TO GOLD 1. Please tell me on what planet does this make any damn sense. And now it is saying that i will become inactive in ranked and decay if i don't play in two days, but I've played a handful of matches the past couple of days. This needs to be discussed/explained by a riot employee. Because this is actually ridiculous.
