Miss Fortune's Unfortunate Turn

Hello Riot

I really hope you read this. As you may have noticed Miss Fortune has been... in an unfortunate state. To be fair Miss Fortune has not been a meta pick save for a very short period in season 2/3, but I feel the situation is quite a bit different this time. Miss Fortune's niche in the game, I feel, is the team fight AoE burst, which she has not been performing up to standard. There may be many reasons for this failure but I will do the hard thing that most people are not willing to do and direct our attention to the elephant in the room.

I will put my foot down and say it. The recent remake regarding her ratios and W/R interaction has made her bad. You really dropped the ball on this one Riot. When the news of this change hit reddit, I and most other players were skeptical. And now the fears are actualized.

Is there a change coming for MF in the future or will she be another Olaf that after the failed "remake" will never see the light of day again? We just want the news. It doesn't matter how far along the way it is. As long as there is a recognition that things are not right and steps are being taken to rectify the problem. That 's all we need--an assurance.

So please will there be a MF revert remake? A change on the way at least?

I hope not. She's not "AOE burst niche", she's "jack of all trades". She's also my main, and she doesn't need to be considered a meta pick to be good.

Last game MF and my Malphite had a great thing going where we just ulted at the same time hell, if we had a yasuo, we could rek their entire team every 60 seconds

what if they just added a 10% ad ratio on every wave of bullet time? At level 16, her ult will be doing a minimum of 296% total AD over 2 seconds.

If MF has 300 ad, that is 888 damage on top of the 1k damage from the base damage. Total, 1888 damage

I don't play MF a TON, but I do feel like her kit is kind of confusing and "dated." New champions being released now have kits where all of their abilities work extremely well together. MF's kit is more like 2 sets of 2 abilities where one of those sets will work well depending on if you build AD or AP. Her kit as a whole seems to be geared toward a hybrid build, but I can't for the life of me remember ever seeing one that did well.

My biggest problem with MF overall though, is just the inconsistency of her Q. It's a total shot in the dark, and even when you feel you have the right positioning, many times the ricochet flys sideways towards a minion or nowhere at all. The skill itself is too unreliable to bank on.
