Is Riven Really Broken ?

I was Having a very in depth convo. with my friend the other day and i said thet ekko was really broken at this point in time (he mains ekko) so he sceams at me RIVEN IS PRETTY BROKEN IF U ASK ME! Thoughts?

Riven and Ekko basically do the same thing (high mobility, shield, stun, AoE damage, etc.). Ekko is fairly weak against high mobility champions since they can dodge all his skills, even his ultimate. Champions who can chain crowd control are also very strong against Ekko because they can prevent him from using his ultimate, which Riven can do with her Q -> W [or W -> Q timed well]. When used correctly Riven is a fairly strong champion to use against Ekko, although I wouldn't go far enough to say she counters him.

Both of them are fairly balanced for now. Ekko is really annoying but not too overbearingly strong and Riven is.. well.. Riven? If you give Riven a lead she can definitely feel broken but she struggles just as badly when behind, so it's like a two edged sword in a way.
