I'm not having fun with this game anymore.

Last season I ended Gold 2 I believe, for many of you that might not be much, but for me I was actually pretty happy because that meant that I was no longer in silver. Because in silver people kinda just were REALLY toxic and liked to ff.

But in gold it wasn't as bad... I guess, people wouldn't ff @ 15 and people wouldn't argue as often.

So this season I was placed in silver 3, which really pissed me off. Now climbing in league of legends isn't the same as climbing in other games. Because league of legends isn't about playing against the enemy, its usually about beating YOUR own team. Most of the time I play league of legends I'm playing against my own teammates, not even the enemy.

I've been attempting to win games this season, trying different comps with my duo, and attempting to at least take control of a game. But there is always that one person on our team that is saying "ff @ 15". They give up the moment they lose even a little bit of gold lead. For example I'm posting this because I just had an Udyr jg that completely gave up on the game since his red was taken from him early. So he went top lane and killed himself to Garen, and blamed our top laner and flamed the rest of the game.

I have realized that the games I do win, involve a team where everyone is trying to win, where everyone is attempting to be friendly to either other and not literally throw the game on purpose. Better yet these people that I report at the end of games get no punishment.

For example I had a Sejuani about 2 weeks ago run down my top lane, because I only "half leashed" her buff. They fed my trynd and the game ended in less than 20 minutes. I reported this Sejuani and they did not get banned. I even noted what happened. I told Riot staff that that person inted and flamed my team. I followed that person's op.gg for until today, still no ban...

The ranking system in league can make it a bit tedious to rank up sometimes, but it makes it a lot harder when about 5/10 of your games consist of one of your laners giving up and flaming the rest of the team or just straight running down the mid lane. I know a lot of people will disagree with the things I have to say about lower ranks since they are in higher ranks, but I am seriously fed up with the type of players that league has allowed into my matches. My matchmaking experience has dropped since when I started playing in 2016. I honestly loved playing with people and joking around.

League has changed, the players have become fed up with the way riot handles it's players. I think that today will mark the last time I ever play a league of legends ranked game. Because I have realized that I can't take this game seriously anymore, and that no one else in my rank has the respect to take it seriously for anyone else's sake. It's really just sad to see how many people like to ruin things for other players.
