Normal draft

So, I was trying to play normal draft last night to test the new runes, when it happened.

Every game I got into was full of diamond players (me peaking at gold). It was Insane, there wasn't a single person in these games that even remotely reflected my skill level. While I still had fun and learned from playing higher skill games, it just seemed incredibly lopsided.

Is this because of the preseason? My normals MMR is about the same as my ranked, I'm always paired with gold so there is no way it should be placing me with high diamond players. Is anyone else seeing this trend?
