I found the perfect term to describe the new Sion

You sir, have no idea just how good this Sion is! From someone who played the old Sion, this is a huge improvement. I'm not sure how you're trying to play him (full AD Sion is worthless), but if you build him as a tank with 1 or 2 damage items, he's great. He's a tanky beast in lane, 2 slows and a stun. His shield does a significant chunk of damage.

Compared to every other tank in League, I think Sion sets a new standard. It could be said that braum is a BIT better and tanking, but they're both certainly great. Sion a much greater benefit to his team than Garen/Zac. He's a spectacular ganker. He can change a teamfight with a fell placed Q. If you think he's worthless because you don't get kills, then you don't know what a team game is.

hes not that bad.. its just that his q either gets interrupted or dodged or doesnt fully channel.. or that his ult can be easily dodged

or that his e does no damage..

besides all that hes fine

Sion kinda sucks atm

Riot focused on making him have a healthy amount of counterplay, the problem is ALOT of champions can take advantage of that counterplay. There are also still champions that don't have as much counterplay.
