Is there anyway to make the ult more noticeable? When playing against a Karthus it can be difficult sometimes to see his ult, especially in the middle of a teamfight. It can be quite frustrating not to see it and die when you could have done something to prevent the death.
Really? I find it quite visually conspicuous, personally. Not very many giant-ass green pillars for it to blend in with.

I've never not noticed an old karthus ult unless there was no champions (enemies of karthus) on screen, and after the VU it is much, much more visible.
The green pillars are extreme examples of clarity, but I assume you mean karthus actually casting it?
If you mean the latter, he jumps up and flies around, easier to target I feel.
