Everyone keeps talking about toxicity, yet so far I feel like this season it's worse than before.

I generally try to spend my time playing with friends, in either Flex or normals, and will SoloQ on my own at other times. Lately, flex has been a reoccurring nightmare of match making. Where you have to hope and pray that the random team mates you've been matched with have some sort of fundamental understanding of the game, and are going to try their best to win the match.

This feels like it's only the case maybe one in seven games. Being able to play ranked with friends is nice, and I get that other people will queue with their friends and that's great for them and for the community on a whole. However it seems that this is also punishing players by giving them the power to also throw games.

The match history I attached is from a flex queue game I played on my lunch by my self. I didn't play out of my mind or anything by any means, and obviously could have played better. I queued as mid-fill, and after a dodged game where I had mid lane, I got popped back into the jungle role, which is definitely an off-role for me.

Because it's a fun and interactive game when my bot lane is a Heimer ADC, Lee Sin support. My mid lane is a full AD Katarina. I would love to gank somewhere, but it's really hard to gank for my mid laner who is dead, against the fed Veigar who is 2 levels ahead of me. Or my bot lane, that has no vision and is usually low health or dead. Or my top laner who is either in base or shoved into tower, also with no vision.

I love this game, but this season is off to a miserable kind of start, where the people are making me not want to play it. I want to play competitively and climb ranked... Climbing ranks is fun for me. However trying to climb ranks with a bunch of angry animals blaming everything in the world for the game not going exactly how they imagined it? It's a lot less than fun.

To quote the enemy Veigar, "You f***** Kat by giving her 0 help,"
Having played a lot of mid lane... if she had been dying to ganks and I wasn't counter ganking, sure. If she was being dove under tower and dying, sure. The logic that it's my fault that Kat couldn't play her match up or resort to roaming to empower other lanes is just getting real old.

And before I get trounced for playing WW, it was a safety pick as I'm pretty sure I was second in the pick order.
