And how many AP champs are there that can't do that at level 2? Base health for most champions isn't exactly through the roof.

ever thought about using mr runes mid against ap ? like maybe flat magic pen reds, hp per lvl seals, flat ap quints and mr blues? maybe that will help you survive a bit better. and if vs ad mid change the seals to flat armor and the mr blues to cdr or ap per lvl
