Gutting higher Elo Shyvanas

I kind of agree that she is strong (to strong) in very low elo, sporting consistent 53% WR in Bronze and all because people don't have mechanics or skill to deal with her playstyle. (kiting, macro-play against splitting,..)

But if Riot goes through with the nerf, what will happen to higher elo Shyvana players if you nerf her in that way? I mean she currently has barely 50% winrate as a low skill-cap champion in Diamond; which is perfect.

Does anyone see a solution to this? I don't really, and it probably means my OTP champ is going to be shit in the Elo I will play after climbing back.

Honestly this has worried me as well she was my main before the buff but if this really guts her clears then i don't know what will happen as it's her identity. So i am hoping this does not hurt her to much as i have stated before i'd rather see all but her unstoppable go cause that is what we wanted was just the unstoppable on the ult.

I agree with that.

I mean the new dragon E is kind of fancy and fun to use, but I'd much rather have that tuned down in base damage, or the ult health rather than touching the clear speed at all

EDIT: I know this would be a nerf to lane shyvana too, but well... Lane Shyv's problems lie in other places

You mean nerfing the bonus dmg she gets to monsters with W? I always thought it was an unnecessary buff anyways lol. Back in season 4 before that even existed she had the fastest clear in the game.

I said it b4 and I'll say it again, the slight nerf to Shyvana's W is very minuscule and only reduces her clear by 5-10 seconds on her first clear. It's not that bad at all and she's still the fastest at clearing.

10 seconds would actually be quite a bit for the first clear, and it will rack up over time on the next clears

It really is nothing tested it several times you'll hardly notice the difference.

It's actually quite a difference when stacked on top of the jungle exp nerf on first clear. Before 7.1 after 5 camps Shyv would be level 4 then can do raptors and with an extra point in W along with 20% bonus damage, could kill the small raptors in 1 hit + full burnout.

Now she'll be facing the raptors at level 3 with rank 1 W, which would require her to auto each small raptor 3x each to take out on top of needing to hit the big raptor more too while taking a lot more damage. Pretty significant

I'm just going to say that this will only nerf her clear just a tiny bit. As far as I can tell she still will have the fastest clearing, only her first clear will be a bit slower. That said however, I'd just wait and see how it actually affects higher levels of play. If not much or little change happens then its nothing to worry about. If there are drastic changes however then I say become worried.

Did you try it out on the PBE? I don't have an account so I can't.. I'd be really interested in how much slower this makes her.

Even if it's 10 seconds first clear it's already quite a lot as it will rack up over time

I dont have PBE but if it's just the damage reduction on W that I read below here I dont think it'll he that drastic. Lately I've been starting Q for the machete double tap damage and more sustain and by the time I do golems or raptors I'm level 4.

High ELO she's not used that much since they want kill pressure and ganks which Shyv doesnt really have which is why assassin junglers are so such more common there

Not really I tend to do red>krug>raptors often and it doesn't bother me any that I have to hit the mini raptors with lvl 1 W anyway and this is still at lvl 3 in the current patch. I still finish the jungle quickly, and if i want a full clear its still done with roughly 25~30% of my hp left.
