Riot have official put a middle finger put to the player base

Ive been playing LOL now for about 4 years and have watched as the creators of the game have continually put out update after update that just screws with the normal player base and focusses so heavily on the PRO SCENE, this game is now a shell of what it used to be and with the latest BS update making assassins essentially unstoppable, the game is no longer fun for me and a lot of my friends, please riot focus on you actual player base not the pro scene especially now there are better choices out there (heroes of the storm, SMITE).

I'm tired of how every season has to change dramatically from the last. It makes me feel like all the work I put in is reset and meaningless.

Who df wants to play a stale ass game? I like the changes, the plants are so fun this season. People just need to adapt.

It depends on your definition of stale.

By that definition, pro sports like the NFL and NBA are the stalest thing ever.

I think it'd be nice if I could take my improvements over to the next season.

Pro-sports require physical abilities. Human bodies degrade much quicker out of their prime than our mental skills (league) so no, pro-sports are actually everchanging.

Also you're not playing in the pro-scene like LCS or World, you're playing a video game on your computer so don't compare this to pro-sports.

If anything compare this to touch football they make you play in gym class.

Our mental capabilities last longer than our physical bodies. League changes so we mentally have to adapt and learn new strategies.

In pro-sports, players can be tired after 30 minutes of running. The change is physical in the players themselves.

In league, champions can run for 30 minutes straight and get faster from items. Why are you even trying to compare video games to a professional sport?

Assassins are not unstoppable. You want to win take Three Tank/Bruisers, one mid mage, and one adc and you will destroy any assassin teams.

Are you kidding? It's no secret that Riot balances heavily for the casual side of the game. So much so that I can't think of one thing that wasn't a systematic change to make the game more shallow but instead deepen it for those invested in the game. Even the assassin update is another example of this.
