So I think its absolute BS that support mains don't get S very much. I have had SO many assists and sometimes kills (even though I try not to focus on kills but sometimes things happen) and I get a freaken A ????? 7-3-32 AS A FISH ?? Are you FREAKEN KIDDING ME RIOT ? It's not just about KDA. Support mains should know that better than anyone. It's about your overall contributions, which may include things like vision control, objective participation, damage/healing, CS and so on.
The grading system is based on relativity
If you were 7/3/32 and your team had a total of 32 kills in a 20 minute game then you would probably get an S
If you're 7/3/32 and your team has like 60 kills and it's a 50 minute game then you probably wouldn't get one
I get at least an S- on at least a third of my wins on support.
The thing is, that you have to do enough better than the average player of your champion. NOT of your team, your last game where you saw someone suck with that champion, or of other champions.
It's a moving target based on the current statistics of players of that champion. It also runs on the hidden algorithms that Riot uses to define doing well, which are not entirely KDA.

I had a game with 
with 5/4/41 and got an A+. I know on other roles, CS is a huge part of getting an S rank...and I feel that even support some times feels like that. I've seen some supports go like 0/4/20 but would get an S rank due to them getting a lot of CS from split pushing which I find really stupid and should not count towards an S rank for supports.
The whole Mastery rankings is all messed up and really should be fixed. I know that its based off the average of that champion played in that role, it just sucks because if the average probably changes around so much so quickly and makes it hard to keep up some times.
Well thank you guys ! I guess it does make a lot of sense. I main support but idk I just feel that a lot of things shouldn't matter for a support main. Such as CS. I believe that CS is meant for the carriers. (And in any case if a support is worried about the cs how is the adc going to get items early game?) I ALWAYS buy pink ... er I guess control wards so I don't think that's the problem. well the game went 4v5. Our ADC DC at lvl 2. We had the lead even though she was DC. It was 51 to 32 kills. The last team fight was what cost us the game. So 39 out of 51 kills I was a part of. Which I guess that makes sense, it could be better. any ways thanks again !
