People declaring Intent when they get auto filled support

This guy got auto filled support and no one wanted to switch with him so he just said he was going to feed, picked Ezreal and took smite. Luckily someone dodged before the game started but there needs to be a way to report these kinds of people, he got away free while someone had to take a penalty for his actions. There needs to be a way to report these people, I'm tired of dealing with people like this in ranked.

I've made a few posts on this a while ago and they best I've seen is a vote to kick that takes 3 or 4 members to kick the player and the kicked player receives the penalty.

Yeah but under that system you give premades way too much power to kick people and punishing people who get kicked makes it even worse. At best if kicked you go right back into queue and if you get consistently kicked then maybe the system begins to think it may be you.

so flex que and normal 4 mans can exploit it but it simple enough to disable it when you que above 2. just like a 2 man que in ranked can't do bot support and support bot. IF you put a report system in during champ select it would go the same way with pre -mades

Yeah no. In solo q the highest a pre made can go is 2 and if the vote requires 4 votes then yeah an't manipulating it. As for flex, 4 man groups are specifically excluded so unless your in a five man group ( which in that case you can easily switch it off) no real abuse can happen.

Punishing that guy wouldn't change anything. The root of the problem is autofill. There is absolutely no reason to have it enabled 24/7 just for the sake of keeping Flex que alive.

Odd conclusion. I find it difficult to ever justify poor behavior.

how often do you play support role? 5-10 minute que times sounds great. if you get auto filled it gets turned off for a few games or if your in your promos.

Maybe it was just me, but I never actually had any problems with que times last season. The only time I ever had to be autofilled then was if I played very early in the morning, and other than that in gold/plat ELO my que times were never longer than 5 minutes and I got to play the role I wanted. The only reason we have autofill always enabled is because of Flex que.

I don't get autofilled to support too often, but I find it very annoying when I do. The larger issue is alot of people who get autofilled to support have no idea how to play it, or simply refuse to play it, which leads to cases like the OPs.
