can someone explain what the borders in the champion mastery page on your profile mean?

idk how to explain it, it's the goldish border thingy. well anyways, I assumed it was for champions you get an S on but the strange thing is there's on around Diana (my highest is B+) and not one on Syndra who I have an s+ on. so what are those weird borders supposed to mean.

It means you've earned a hextech chest with that champion and cannot earn another chest while playing that same champion. That is all
