Riot can you please make it so that when Lux becomes stunned during her Ult cast, it gets canceled.

I have played a game recently as vayne where I have been rather intrigued by the fact that I have stunned a lux while she is casting her ult but even though she is stunned, the ultimate still goes through and I believe it does not fully make sense and it would be great if it had some counterplay to it.

It isn't a channeled ability so that wouldn't make sense. It just has a cast animation, just like ezreal's ult.

I think that is what the OP is alluding to: the fact that her skill as a windup is uninterruptible as it appears to be a channel spell to anyone who knows what channel spells are but hasn't played vs Lux before.

The counterplay to lux ult is to sidestep it (or dodge her Q). The attack isn't a channeled ability but instead when fired it runs the two animations (character and attack) the the damage occurs during the part where the light ray gets big. It would be interruptible if it was closer to fiddlesticks ult (channel first then effect) but this ult functions similar to syndra ult does where it goes off no matter once you press that button AFAIK

Truth: the only way to cancel Lux's ultimate is by 100%-ing her mid animation.

The problem with this is that oftentimes, Lux is so far away from you that you rarely have that opportunity to attack her while she is ulting you even in Lane.

It wouldn't be unhealthy to be able to knock her out of her ultimate with a stun or a knock-back. Lux's ultimate currently reminds me of a spray and pray ability.

It has a low enough cooldown as it is and it roots(her).

It's hilarious how easy it is to interrupt something like a Shen ultimate(which has one of the longest ult CD in the game) but if you throw a syndra orb right at Lux's face or hit her with any hard CC it does nothing.

His ult is channeled. Hers is not.
