thanks for the reply
as i said i play mid so AP carries / assasins
if there is a fed nasus / jax even ashe bot can win the teamfight she will deal dmg in a really safe spot and even if she die it wont matter nasus/jax/lee will 1v9 : conq just made our lives harder isnt it xD ..
what about the dragon/ baron question
Edit : i might add that also my teamates even when we have like 0.00 chance of winninng a fight they will run towards baron / dragon if we think they are doing it .. is this a smart move / worth it than say give it up or play defensively ?
Yeah, so it's entirely dependent on which champion you're playing at any given time. If you're playing an assassin or burst mage like Talon or Annie then you'll generally want to focus the highest priority target that you can reasonably one shot. Going all in on the fed Jax is kind of pointless since you likely won't be able to one shot him and put yourself in massive danger by focusing him.
If you're playing a control mage like Malzahar/Anivia/Zilean etc. then you'll want to stay back and peel for your carries as much as possible and only focus the enemy adc/mid laner if they make themselves vulnerable. Jax/Nasus will likely be unable to approach you if you're playing this type of champion as they will never be able to tank the damage you and your adc deal whilst you've cc'ed them as well as a regular tank.
If you're playing a high sustain damage mage like Cassiopeia, Aurelion Sol, Ryze etc. then you just want to hit whatever's in front of you as you generally have the damage to melt through bruisers and tanks alike and, like I mentioned above, only need to attack high priority targets when the tanks/bruisers are dead or they position poorly and get caught out.
If you're playing poke mages you aim for high priority targets as much as possible whilst making sure you never get in range of a Jax or Nasus to get onto you as you seriously lack disengage if they do make it to you. By late game you should have enough power to deal significant amounts of damage to anyone who isn't a full tank.
It's similar for late game objectives. Sometimes you should just leave them to take baron/elder dragon, but generally you should always try to contest. You need to consider several things though:
- Is it a 5v5? Is one of your teammates on the opposite side of the map without tp? Is anyone on your team dead?
- Who is stronger? Are you massively ahead/behind in gold?
- How quickly can they take objectives? Will the objective be dead by the time you get there? Do they have someone who shreds baron/elder drake?
- Do they have a tank? If they are 5 squishy members, it's likely they will be quite low after taking baron.
- Who has more team fight power? If they can disengage the baron/elder drake and kill you easily then it's not wise to go.
- Is the area properly warded? Are you sure they're on baron and not just baiting you?
