Anyone having trouble climbing?

Finished last season at plat 2 while peaking at plat 1 58 lp's, this season I got placed in gold 1 after going 6-4, got a bit stuck there until I dropped to gold 2, already lost my promos to gold 1.

All the games I won I noticed that everyone was playing pretty much like a team, and the games I lost, the enemies were playing also as a team while I had a couple of monkeys on mine losing as vs top (1-10) and mid lane (most broken mid atm) going 1-7, while im 4-1 as (im a jungle main) It happens, whatever, I sometimes play a bit bad.

But srsly Am I the only one having trouble climbing? Im pretty sure my skill didnt dropped as much even tho I only play half the time I used to.

I know the feeling when you think that your losses are always because of garbage teams and your wins because you team is awesome but most of the time it isn't really true in my experience. Look back at the games that you've won and you will see that you also had bad players on your team and good players on the enemy team. But the good performance of some members on the winning team can take away the attention from that so you think your team was great even though it wasn't. Same but the other way around for losing teams.

My personal tricks I use to climb:

Always play a warm up game (Normals) before going into ranked. If you are not happy with your overall performance in the normal game then don't play ranked.
Don't keep playing if you lost more than 2 games in a row. You will be tilted and play worse.
Only play your best champions that you have a high winrate with (in your case Tristana, Akali, Camille and Warwick) If you have a 50% or negative winrate in more than 10 games then stop playing this champion in ranked. Keep your champion pool small for ranked if you want to climb fast.
Never react to any negative comments of team mates. Even if you just want to calm them down, don't do it and keep silent. Chat activity will take away concentration from everyone.

No. I've noticed after getting back into Gold the matchmaking descends horrendously.

I'm G5, G4 Season End, P4 Pre season. I keep getting lvl 30 accounts or S5 B1's mixed in with my Gold games and those guys play like bronze norms. The games we win everyone is at least silver bordered. I cringe at seeing anything borderless now.

Feel it do. Hit plat in Preston. G3 in placements. Immediate weekend after placements demoted twice. Last night win 5 in a row get to promos for g4, lose 5 in a row...
