Have not played in over 2 Years. Keep losing, looking for helpful advice.

Several years ago I played with high ranked players, I never was very good and usually made to play support due to lack of knowledge and experience in the game. However, I came back recently and the community is still as toxic as it was before and I believe that I am hindering my teammates with poor performance issues. I'm not sure how to improve or even where to begin in order to learn new roles and progress in the game. Pretty disappointed in my own performance after coming back from a long period of not playing and kinda depressed. Any advice would be helpful on tips to improve, thank you.

JUst play tanks bro.. they outdamage and outsustain most champs atm and they dont take ANY mechanical skill this should help you get afeel of the game and move on to other classes. focus on yourself your team doesnt mean shit you focus on improving both mechanicly and mentaly and you will climb eventually just dont try too hard it's only gonna tilt you. i tilted and lost like 7 games in arow on 0 lp and my mmr is destroyed and now i cant find the motivation to climb up xd i even made anew acc to escape the elo hell i got myself into ( d5 )

I've mainly been playing tank supports I.E. Leona/Thresh. However, ADC usually flames me in solo normals for bad performance :/ even though I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. That sounds brutal, I hope the new account helped boost your moral. Thank you for the advice.

Play safe, use lots of wards, be aware of the minimap (or your wards will be useless)! Don't be afraid to play some vs. AI and ARAM to get a feel for general mechanics again.

Maybe playing against AI/ARAM will help with learning the mechanics again. I think it might be my unfamiliarity with the new champions/re-works of old champions. Thanks for the advice.
