So I have 400 RP AND Akali costs 395. Right now I am collecting IP for runes and it will take a while to collect them. I really want to buy Akali but I don't want to waste my 400 RP on her because she costs only 3150 IP. So should I buy Akali now when she is on sale or after a while?

Your Next Kill2 votesNever buy champions with RP unless it is a 6300 champion on sale. If you can buy anything with IP, do it. It takes alot more time, but saves you money, which is more important

Valderis Vandala2 votesAre you talking about the free RP you get from leveling? Then sure you can buy a on sale champion that costs 395 RP, it'll save you some IP. But only if you aren't interested in buying RP to begin with, which you shouldn't, but if you are considering buying RP and looking for stuff to buy then do not buy champions with it, its a waste of RP.
Unless you care more about time then money, then you can buy champions with RP and use IP to buy runes. But you'd be wasting your money, think of the games you can buy instead of unlocking stuff you can unlock with time anyway, think of the games you can buy instead of overpriced bits of pixels.
But whatever, do what you like and have fun while it lasts.

Consider building her as a tank, its the latest fad and a lot of fun, I've been having a ton of fun with her in ARAM.

3150 isn't much if you got the patience, because the patience is worth the RP.
