Remake for an afk

Hey all,

I've been reading up on reddit and ask.fm about why Riot is slightly against the remake options for league of legends. Basically it seems that Riot is hesitant to implement this feature due to the very likely chance that it'll just get abused and make the game not fun. However, in my experience with afks, I found in most cases that its not a fun game for anyone, even on the winning side. Even worse, you can't even leave the game, since you'll most likely get branded an afk and receive the same punishment as well. So for the team without the afk, it's just a mindless stomp thats almost as boring as a bot game, whereas for the team with the afk, it becomes just an endless cycle of respawning and getting squished, then respawning again for the same process. Wouldn't it be more sensible to have a remake vote, much like the surrender vote, for the first 10 mins of the game, where the players have had more than enough time to reconnect? Or at least a shortened surrender timer for every afk would be merciful for the summoners unfortunate to get more than one afk in his/her team.

Pls Rito, think about the children

My Preferred idea is a Vote of No Confidence.

Once a player AFKs or DCs a 5 minute timer is put up (More Than enough time to solve most connection problems) and once the timer ticks down the DC Starts a Vote of No Confidence, Like a normal Surrender vote but the DC automatically counts as a yes vote and it only requires 3 Yes's to make a surrender.

Thatd be okay, I wouldnt even mind losing a little bit of LP either, since some 4v5s are winnable.
