No longer interested in playing league

I was hoping to see some changes in champs that I enjoy playing. Rather, Riot has made them even more useless now with this new rune system. The system itself seems so stupid to me. No explanation needed. I just simply hate it. Last season will lost likely be my last season at this rate.

Maybe actually give the effort to tool around with the new shit? I don't understand how you can play for THIS long and not know how preseason goes by now.

Games change often and can fall in and out of general popularity. If you don't enjoy playing something, it's entirely your decision to find something else you enjoy. You can stick around to see what happened, but if you still find that you don't like it do what's best for you.

Riot never falls back into general popularity.

They only ostracize more subsets of their players.

If riot ever made the game uninteresting to you in the past 5 years, it's only gotten worse since you left and shows no signs of improving.

Popularity does not mean quality. I'm not here to argue whether or not the game is in a good state or has quality components, I'm pointing out that if you personally do not enjoy playing the game, you have every right not to play or support Riot.

Regardless of that fact, they continue to grow and are currently the largest MOBA, so despite the seemingly unified voice here on boards, there are still a large portion of players who seem to enjoy the game.

Maybe, but they've relied on their foundation for years, both in respect to players and design.

They seem to be convinced that they can disregard and replace both... well we will see how that turns out over the next year probably. Fortunately for riot so far, they've got nostalgia and a favorable market on their side. Without another title to invest into, people have a tendency to default back to league. They want to play a game, they can't find a game, they've already crossed the barrier to entry with league, so they'll just play league.
