Support Mastery

Whenever I play support at the end of the game I feel very underwhelmed. I may play an amazing game and get a score like 0/2/19 (giving my adc a score like 7/1/3), but when I look up, I only received an A-.

Supports are supposed to give away kills to other members of the team, but I feel that we are not rewarded properly in the mastery section for doing this.I don't want to start kill stealing because I know it's better that my ADC get the kill/extra gold.

I've always been told to not just come with a problem, but have a solution. My solution to this would be to have assists worth more to a support than to other champions.
