Regarding the upcoming rune and leveling changes as a casual player

Hello forums, I might have posted here a few times in the past, if not well then hello.

I just got done reading up on the upcoming preseason leveling and rune revamps and have certainly seen quite the commotion and uproar from veteran players, however I'd like to toss my feedback into the mix and someone who started playing just inches before the december cutoff point.

I started in 2016, somewhere around march or may and grinded my way up to 30 like normal, however as someone with a rather unextensive champion pool and very low ip reserve (1288ip as of posting) I can't help but feel alienated by the upcoming leveling rewards. I get it, Riot wants to get new players into their game however as someone who isn't really considered a "grizzled veteran" in reference to the video, I can't feel but I've kinda been ignored. I'm struggling for ip, I don't have a single rune page outside of the 2 you get for starting because the costs for them are outlandishly expensive for someone who players basically on weekends only, and realistically I cannot start a new account and reap the rewards since I've already spent money on this account for skins and rp, expecting me to re-roll an alt would invalidate the small amounts of time and money I've put into my main account. I don't have tons of champions, however I have sunk quite a bit of ip into the supposed "freebie" champions that I wouldn't be missing out on during the leveling update, outside of the low ip champions I've purchased over my time, the only full price champion I've ever saved up for was kindred and kindred alone. everything else has been the low ip champions and even still I've been running into low ip issues for the entirety of my playtime.

I'm not sure how this new leveling update is going to help people with low ip/blue ess, when those leveling structured reward boxes are only really aimed at those leveling 1-30, what can I as a casual 30 player with barely any champion unlocks and a ton of ip sunk into runes that won't be refunded expect with the new updates? I don't have a huge ip sink like the veterans, however I also have money invested into this account that would make re-rolling an alt very unappealing to me. What should I do in this situation Riot?

You'll level past level 30 now, you also didn't spend much on runes either.

The biggest thing that's irking me isn't even the ip sink into runes, it's the fact that new accounts now will be given a free rune page while leveling which is a really large amount of ip from my perspective as a low activity player.

Oh ya, don't let the boards fool you. The people most f'd in the a from this is the to old to be new but to new to be old group of players. Realistically the people from before season 4 or even 5 get a good boost from this get a nice chunk of IP from their runes they used for years and years to buy things in the temp shop that will be open and the new players get a full refund or didn't spend much in runes anyway.

In the grand scheme of things, making the game better for new people is what needs to happen. If we want the game we sink real money into to stay relevant we need new blood lol. If we have to all take a hit on the chin to keep the game flowing then I'm ok with this. People will want Riot to take a hit, but they potentially are, but if they take a huge hit are game starts to become crap. I believe all though all you see is bitch posts, League isn't in a awful state atm. This new rune change should be interesting and just flat out different.
