Hecarim a strong jungler?

Is he very powerful, almost OP? I'm thinking about getting him, I'm just not sure. Him or Jarvan?

Vi - Sejuani - Volibear. Honnestly I personally think hecarim is on the weak side.

He's in a fine spot as a jungler, but his early game damage & ganks are lacking. Since he's primarily a source of AoE damage, his early dragon solo is weak too. That being said, he hits a really hard spike once he gets a few items not to mention the movespeed is great for pressuring multiple lanes.

I agree with Karlyr on Vi and Voli: Vi is basically Hecarim, but with an ult that never misses, the ability to wall-jump, and much more damage, perfect for snowballing solo queue :D

In terms of J4, the recent change to his E (removal of the bonus armor) hurts his jungle considerably since all neutral camps deal physical damage. While he's still fine as a jungler, you might find his clear a little lacklustre.

in terms of these 3: Vi > J4 > Hec, in my opinion

Oh yeah, and since we're seeing him [Hecarim] as a fairly contested top-lane pick in competitive, expect some changes/nerfs in the near future :P

I see a lot more Lane Hercerim. Partially because you can get HomeGuards Early and basically Return to lane with out much consequence. He becomes Harder to Bully out of lane.

He's decent in the jungle, but you reach your power spikes at more relevant points in the game as Lane Hecarim - especially with the right Runes + Masteries + Build Order.

P.S. Try Hydra on him because it's Passive and Active both scale off AD (which scales off Movement Speed on Hecarim). Just get it after Homeguard or Distortion Mercs (using TP with Distortion also grants you movement speed, albeit less than Homeguard, but you get TP more often), TriForce and Frozen Heart.
