What About Champs like Quinn, Varus and Sivir?

Long ago, Marksman like Varus, Draven or Caitlyn had a build that was called "Legolas Build (item 3072 item 3035 " but that is no more posible with the changes of BT.... I know that Draven or Caitlyn or other Marksman don't have today problems with the current builds, but what about Quinn ,Varus or Sivir :( ? Since The Legolas Build doesn't really exist anymore, they are in a hard place in the current meta, and honestly, Varus is one of my favorite Marksman, and he's one of the most underrated because of his crowd control, and the other Marksman are having a great time, like Lucian, Ezreal, Corki, Jinx , Tristana and KogMaw, mostly KogMaw and Tristana for solo queue.

The whole point here is that Varus, Sivir and Quinn are being left alone in a dark place, I'm happy that Riot is taking a lot at Urgot and is doing a great job with the champs realeses and stuff, But Quinn Honestly, she's to me more like and assasin/fighter (and has more winrate in top than bot) than an Marksman, and should reconsider a relaunch (I don't know, like making Quinn more like Jayce, Nidalee or Elise), and Varus is just in a Meeh position, the same goes to Sivir, I'm not doing this just for favoritism, but is Riot has just being lefting alone this champs: Lucian, Ezreal, Corki, Jinx , Tristana and KogMaw to do their chaos in lanes and forgot about some other Marksman (Still saying that is a good thing that Urgot is having some care with his bad rates and stuff).

By the way, I like the great job of Azir and Gnar (he's also underrated :P), the Soraka rework, the Cassiopeia Retune and that Riot is trying to also rework Sion, Fiora and Warwick , thanks for taking your time to read this keep the good work guys :)

I made an effort to care and then realized that I wanted all ADCs removed from the game for what a Trist/Kog are doing to the game at the moment.

I would hardly say that ezreal is a top marksman. trist and kog are a bit overtuned in the lategame.

The thing about a meta-game is it's the game within the game. You pick champions based on what champions your enemy is going to pick, to deal with the play style their team composition wants.

Also - nobody in their right mind is going to bother playing the 4th best champion at a given position if there's 3 perfectly good champions that are better picks within the given meta.

Jinx being a top pick in the meta was mostly because pro teams wanted to push turrets down at record speeds. Caitlyn and Miss Fortune were top picks when late-game itemization took a huge hit and marksman had to bring a strong early game. Tristana and Kog'Maw are mostly the top-picks because the meta game wants to drag on long enough for hyper-carries to be the best carries, as late game itemization generally became more appealing due to caster-centric AD itemization taking a hit. Subsequently, Ezreal and Corki were considered the best marksman when Trinity Force got a buff - allowing a strong mid-game performance from an otherwise "late-game" roll. Ashe was a solid marksman when marksman went in the middle lane.

In regards to Quin, Varus, and Sivir - I wouldn't call them bad champions, so much as there exact play style doesn't line up exactly with what everyone expects the marksman roll to fulfill in the current meta.

You don't have to fallow the meta to win though, the meta game generally isn't the 100% best way to play either. It's entirely possible to play to a set of win conditions with a team composition that suits marksman like Varus, Quinn, or Sivir as the marksman.

Also - the top ~3 most visible picks are the most visible because 3 is a solid number. If you move Sivir, Quinn, and Varus into the top 3 spot - then champions like Jinx, Lucian, Kog'Maw, and Tristana will rarely get played. Not because there's a valley in power between them - but because 3 is a nice number and people aren't going to play the 4th best pick if they're trying to play one of the best picks. It doesn't matter if there's only a 0.0005% difference in power between #1 and #10 for that to be the case.
