Twisted Treeline Match Making

Ok, so I'm sure this has been covered in the past but I want to post my feed back/ feelings on the subject. First and foremost, Twisted treeline should not have a different MMR rating from soloq/ 5s/ dq/ whatever they are calling it. Second as a silver player there is no reason why when I am Paired with a gold5 and another silver player should ever be matched up against plat/diamond players as a silver ranked 3s team. I get that it is a separate MMR but to me that is just crazy. It is not fun to be stomped on repeatedly by higher elo players. Please Riot, make MMR the same thoughout all game modes and keep the competitive balance that you strive for in Ranked DQ the same thoughout all game modes. It becomes no fun to play teams that may be ranked as a silver team in 3s but has plat/diamond players on it. That just doesn't make sense to me.

Funny enough, equalizing MMR across all game modes would actually make "competitive balance" worse. Different game modes emphasize different skill sets. Players might work well with one map's gameplay, but not with another map's. Expecting players to be equally good at every map is arguably more unreasonable than expecting players to be equally good at every position on SR. Yes, some skills transfer, but many nuances do not.

This is actually one of the reasons Riot originally removed ranked 5s. Maybe the individual players are good, but their teamwork is atrocious. In any case, a larger pool of players would help mitigate the problem, which the ranked team schedule is ostensibly meant to address. Furthermore, again, remember the "different maps" thing. Just because someone's higher-ranked than you on SR doesn't mean he's better than you on TT.

Seriously, if someone is higher-ranked than me by several Elo's I dont care if he is the shittiest plat/ diamond he is better than me on any map. Point is no bronze/ silver player should ever be playing against plat/ diamond players on any map. The skill difference is just too big for those players to over come with any kind of team work. They will get stomped on in lane and they will grow the lead from there making any kind of teamwork they would have not matter because the others are too far ahead for it to matter.

Before we do anything like this, let's address the fact that you can't surrender a game with 2 out of 3 votes as a yes.
