Unless I'm crazy does Hecarim feel too strong with the recent changes with the runes and stuff?

I've been noticing Hecarim way more in games lately and he just seems to be ramming through teams with all the free ad he's gaining off runes and items i brought it up in one game and was being called out as being negative but unless i'm insane Hecarim has way more of a presence which i wouldn't mind but he's literally ramming people to death with one e it's kinda nuts

That was even before the new patch. Heca was pretty dominant for the last two patches. He could be played assassin and one shot the adc. I don't see why he would be weaker or different (or stronger for that matter) now as the runes he uses are not that much changed nor his items and he was running domination and sorcery which gives only dmg stats so even with the new stats with max of 12 bonus AD he won't be much stronger if not at all.

someone released a guide to pred junglers and used hec as an example. imo hec is just cheesing games out rn because of this.

study this and see if you still have issues. i ran into hec but he didnt get work and he also didnt do the route ( i made sure to check ) so maybe it this an outlier

predator cheese is actually pretty powerful, been doing it recently with nunu.

also cause of the fact that hec is a free rotation champ as of now.

it is, but just like with the golem level 3 cheese on bot lane, it pretty easy to shut it down.

invade the enemy buff leave then ward the pushed lane. in theory this cheese fails to a counter gank.

preventing the early cheese stops the snow ball which prevents getting tower plates and snowballing lanes

The Celerity changes have me doing less damage as hecarim. He was stronger pre-patch because of the adaptive damage from Celerity. People just assume the celerity change buffs hecarim, so they play him more. However, diminishing returns on movespeed really give Celerity's effect a magnitude of somewhere between 4% and 8% amplified bonus movespeed. It doesn't give the full 8%, but something trending towards the 4%. This, plus the removal of adaptive damage has me doing less damage and almost killing people in situations where I would have killed them right away if we were still in last patch.

It's because he has access to runes and items that just wombo combo his abilities and one-shot very early on.
