A lobby veto idea for ranked

So I'm sure this has been an idea somewhere else in another forum but I'm really going to break down my experience and share an idea I've been brainstorming.

The Problem I will be touching on the problem I've had the most and can definitely affect the game I'm about to play. What is the most important thing heading into ranked?... A good attitude, bad things can and will happen. Ranked tests your ability to handle the circumstances emotionally and "stay on your game", i.e. if u enter ranked Que with a bad attitude your more likely to tilt, rage, flame u name it which can lead to a negative atmosphere for everyone and a decline in win rates. The issue is getting placed in a ranked lobby and the four other players are already flaming, complaining or just downright being a jerk. Example? I head into ranked today with a clear mind and just ready to win some games. I come into the lobby as last pick I ALT-TAB and continue with sifting reddit for the next laugh or cool picture. In the background I hear the pinging of messages in my lobby, I check to look whats all the Hype and it turns out 4th pick picked Tahm Kench with smite locked it in and after Shyvanna 3rd pick locks in thinking she will be jungle and he will be support. Well this didn't sit to well with him, he wanted jungle and he started getting upset. Tristana (second pick) says "you could go support Tahm" he replies with a very cold "No.". He wanted Shyvanna to go top and she also declined saying shes fine with double jungle. By this time i already know i don't wanna spend the next 30 minutes with both of these people and I'm sure they don't really want to play this game either. So i don't pick my champion... It ends with a loss and a 30 min penalty because this happens quite often. Now should i really be punished for the other people around me being toxic? No. I want to play a ranked game where we aren't already starting to lose in the lobby and will GLADLY take the penalty instead. This is a problem I've felt has been a thorn in my side since I've started playing ranked. It happens in every elo from bronze to diamond and it can be fixed quite easily. Now i say easily but it will take time and work However, I believe something needs to be done.

My Solution Add some kind of Veto system to the lobby in which if lets say 4/5 people decide to click this button it resets the lobby and u go looking for four other new players that may have a better attitude and that u think you have a good chance of winning or for that matter, having fun. We've all been there and this solution is something that like this game is TEAM BASED. Now Riot i understand I'm going to get with 4 random people from 4 different places that may not get along with me and i don't expect to get along with everyone in the lobby either. However, I expect a certain degree of respect. The same amount of respect I'm willing to give and just as i am willing to take my jungle tahm to support this game because of a miscommunication error i would like the people in the lobby to do the same and if they don't i think there should at least be an option to say OKAY, these 4 other people are not MY 4 other people lets re-roll and try again.

The Problems with my solution This system can be abused very easily, the obvious ones are, Its hard to trust elo hungry players with their own fate. They may jus re-roll because the other team comp counters theirs or possibly in higher elos you can pick out the better players and just re-roll until u get the aphro sneaky botlane but my brain doesn't give up that easily and there's a solution to that, as well as the other problems you will find with the system.

In Conclusion, I am definitely still willing to talk about this and honestly this a whiteboard idea meaning it was come up with very quickly and is just brainstorming. I would LOVE if someone at Riot could contact me and brainstorm this idea and other ideas on how we can address this issue. Even though I go through bad times, Every event I've been to every caster/pro I've met even the personalities of the streams i watch, this game has given me a lot of good times and I'm looking to maximize the good times. Thank you Riot for everything and i can see your still trying to improve, i hope we can all find the same attitude that keeps us moving forward in whatever we decide to do.

I disagree with this "bullying" system. Let's say I want to play an off-meta pick, I'd get consistently bullied out by the 4 others in the room. You also need to account for duo queueing, does this mean the requirement for a vote kick becomes 3? Enemy team counters you? Someone gets scapegoated.

All in all, this vote system is extremely poorly thought out and practically impossible to implement. Trolls happen in a minority of games, despite the hivemind that everyone with a conflicting opinion is toxic.

I understand your frustration but... Dodging isn't the answer in your case since it is 30 min long. Id rather risk the team and maybe win over guarantee a loss (or ff at 20 since it is still shorter). The problem with the idea is that it can be abused. Say that there are two duos and you are the fifth. These two duos take bot, jg, and top leaving you mid. Say you want to go a bit off meta and play something risky. These 2 duos could force the veto since you wanted to do something different essentially making 'off meta' a negative component to the game.

People would never use it as intended, but it would give me an out to the constant teemo counter pick to my Nasus top

this will just be abused by duo's and teams with inferior comps compared to the enemy team.. there is unfortunately no solution to this... unless riot makes Pregame Lobbies chat recorded for tribunal.. but then again.. Tribunal has been broken and down since S3...
