Matchmaking... Broken as per usual.

So been trying to climb as much as possible and in no way am i a pro player... but im not horrendous and cant really get better because im stuck in the most common used phrase in this game.. 'Elo Hell'. i keep having spats were i can carry games and climb back up to silver 2.... but then i go on a 12 loose streak and im back to silver 4 almost bronze... my team is 0/5-10 within 5 mins... i feel this severely needs a proper look in as this is killing my enjoyment of the game.

"ELO hell" is the most common delusion that people use to blame something other then themselves. Doesn't mean it's true. In fact it's not mathematically possible to be true

Judging from your match history, you play like a silver. You die, a lot. Even in games where you're winning, you die, a lot. You have the most deaths on your team in most games. Playing like that fucks your team hard, doubly so if you've also got a lot of the team's kills. I bet if you shifted your focus from chasing after kills to taking objectives and making only high percentage plays, you'd get gold pretty easily.

I am gold and riot give TO MY TEAM, silver 4, Bronze Iron, unrankeds is always on my team when I start to win and guess what? I start to lose, the system is broken and is made to be that way.

Meanwhile, another big topic about matchmaking "misteriously" disappeared.

Good job, whoever did that :D Totally not shady.

It means you are where you are supposed to be for your performance level.

Answer is simple. Start looking up your teammates more. You can easily tell who is gonna be shit. Autofills are the most useless and most duos that play together. Dodge a lot more. It's better to lose LP instead of MMR or force dodges.

People may not like it, but it's the truth. It's delusion when people think players gotten better when they haven't changed at all. Duo queuing does mess up matchmaking either granting the opposite team a bad player in a vital role. Duoing with a support main who is lower elo gives the opposing team a lower elo player in a vital role most of the time. =D

The match maker is not the problem. You guys need to stop making these threads.

The problem with the game is that small leads are far too easily turned into large leads that are eventually impossible to overcome. 90% of games are decided within the first 10 to 15 minutes. The match maker has nothing to do with that. Anyone would seem like a Challenger smurf when they are 3000 gold ahead of everyone and it's not that hard for someone to get a lead like that. All it takes is one or two assholes running it down.

Take any Bronze 4 player, put him on a champion like say, Riven, Diana, Jax, Yasuo or Tryndamere. Put him in a Gold 3 game, run into this guy about 5 or 6 times within the first 10 minutes and see if any of these more skilled Gold players could stop him from just running over everything in sight.

Ghost To Lane used to do a series on YouTube where he'd take Bronze players and put them in Diamond games. I was quite surprised that they actually held their own. I remember one even pseudo-carrying a Diamond game simply because his team managed to get him a nice lead. I mean these players were way more skilled that he was but it's kinda hard to "out skill" someone when they are like 2000 gold and 3 levels ahead of you.

Just play champs youre good at and you will climb. I am nasty akali/ahri main and im one trick level. The second i try something new i go back to plat 4-3 and the second i go back to ahri/akali and im back to plat 2-1 so yea. Just play champ you like. It's not hard to escape silver. I started in iron on this account. I got to plat in maybe 30games??

Its rigged, starting with glorious promotionals that make no sense at all but still around. There are a lot of threads and analytics about that proofed it multiple times; tho, people still pretend the mm somehow.

just dont defend greedy decision guys.

usually if you're bouncing from the top of one elo to the bottom/mid of it, youre just at your current peak.

Dodge bad comps and op.gg players to see they play their champs. If you do that for the next 50 games and are still stuck then it's definitely just where you belong right now.

I used to think the same way back when I started out and making new accounts led to similar rankings around that time frame. This is proof that the system generally works. Otherwise, my smurfs should have been in quite different ELOs.

Another thing is to figure out what you like playing and are better at. As far as performance, it's generally better to hone in on that - at least in the short term. I keep trying to play champions I'm not very good at executing and it usually costs me at least 3-4 divisions.

d climb back up to silver 2.... but then i go on a 12 loose streak and im back to silver 4 almost bronze... my team is 0/5-10 within 5 mins

You can't be in elo hell in silver 2, since elo hell is diamond 4.

Just stop playing as this is the only method to get riot to listen, dropping player counts and dropping money income.
