Fiora Feels

Lets talk about Fiora,

Sadly, as of now Fiora is a pretty weak champ that gives players no reward for successful execution of her abilities. To open, I really like the idea behind the rework and her new kit. Her new play style is indeed fun and now playing her truly gives the impression that you are a grand duelist waltzing around the Fields of Justice, bravo Riot. However, she needs some strength to reward proper kit utilization. I think this could be done with an upgrade to her new W. Bringing back the passive AD would be great, but a better compliment exists in upgrading the abilities stun mechanic. So far in all the games I have played with her the stun procs an underwhelming amount of the time; because it only works when parrying an immobilizing spell. There is only a handful of champs who posses these spells in top lane and it is difficult to catch them with a proper parry. If the stun could proc. after intercepting any enemy attack Fiora would have more access to a necessary window for successfully finishing her new ulti. Truthfully her new W is easily avoidable by a vigilant player, the animation is slow and clear and any enemy champion can easily distance themselves from the move, so giving it more opportunities for stuns is fair. Another possible buff could come from giving an extra speed burst when procing an ulti vital spot. This would help because trying to keep up, position, and hit the 4 ulti vital spots of a moving enemy before the window closes is nearly impossible. However, engaging a fleeing enemy isn't really a duel so this may not be the best course of action. Giving more frequent stun opportunities is probably the best way to boost this champ and still keep the interests of the rework in mind.

Currently, if you put up her ulti on a target you will hit 1-2 vital spots at best without a stun. With more frequent W stuns Fiora could ulti and probably get off 2 vital spots before the stun faded. Leaving 2 vitals to snap which, with proper kit utilization, can be successfully performed. As of now the only real hope any summoner has for gaining the heal buff is if they ulti a target and hit one vital, then hope for an ally team member to finish off the foe, which isn't very duelist spirited either. She should be able to go 1v1 against any champ and have an opportunity to win if successful in timing her lunges and E slows. Anyways, I love the new play style from the rework and want to competitively play Fiora but, in her current condition, that's just not going to happen. So please Riot, give this duelist a fighting chance and a much needed buff.
