Master / Challenger Rotation + End of the Season Dilema

The rotation when the top 200 Masters become Challengers happens exactly at the same time the "End of the Season" ends. This happens @ 12:01 PM PST Monday Night/Tuesday Morning.

Because the servers will end the season on exactly the same time the new Challengers get promoted, does this mean that the "Master to Challenger" rotation won't update since the servers will close the season? Meaning that Sunday Night is the last day for any hopeful Master player to get into Challenger?

Or will Riot let the server finish the "Master to Challenger" rotation before ending the season?

Both happen at 00:00PST. Expect the last promotion to count.

tl;dr: Don't be below 500LP if you're Challenger, don't wait until Monday to get promoted if you're in Master.
