I figured that TF as a champ is aimed at getting gradual advantage in lane, and staying safe early. The gold passive is nice for him, he gets some HP sustain, and he gets a little help with terrible early game CSing.
I'd like to hear your thoughts.
I would rather Doran's ring. I feel like you get enough gold from your own passive already, and if the other guy is beating you, Cull becomes less and less worth it as his CS keeps going up and you keep getting denied.

Cull is never worth it right now. It's worth a maximum of 130 gold and a little extra sustain in lane. For the same initial cost, Doran's Blade gives 80 HP, 3 more AD for trades and last-hitting, and lifesteal that outscales Cull after just one item. Cull has a cool design, but it's so undertuned that you're actually gimping yourself.
Tf is probably one of the only champions in the game who 'could start with Cull. And it's still a really bad idea.
I start with boots and 4 pots. I just farm...tbh...Im more of a passive tf and id rather wait til post six to start doing stuff
