I've enjoyed League this season. I also enjoyed watching Worlds this year, rooting for C9 and watching 100T go up in flames (Not that I dislike the team).
It was also fun for my brother as well, we found adapting to the meta changes in the bot lane and trying new things were fun. I wish I've done ranked more but I think 24 games to reach Silver 3 while playing in Gold-ish Elo was good practice.
The thing that wasn't fun was the flame, it needs to stop and it honestly makes me think Riot's priorities need work. There need to be ADs that say "Get ready for the flame." That's probably the only thing that makes me not enjoy the game, while I've barely received flame this season, it's just demoralizing seeing it as often as I do. To put it short, it doesn't matter how new player friendly they make the game if the player base just isn't, not counting the smurfs, etc. I gotta hold my friend's hands whenever I recommend this game to them, why deal with League Flame when they can just go play Fortnite or something else and not deal with it?
On that, I'm looking forward to next season.
