RIOT!!! Penalize those who vote "YES" to surrendering

I'm tired of playing a game with a bunch of whiners. Ive had guys trying to quit and we're the ones that are up. They have no fight and if they cant win they cry and want to quit. I like playing the game out and often have great comebacks but these guys are spoiled.

That ruins my whole game experience when i have 3 games back to back where guys just want to quit because the fight isn't easy. YES.... SOMEONE ON THE ENEMY TEAM WAS FED!!! That is one person, fight and shut up so we can pull this off.

Their should be pt system to if you vote to quit you take a penalty of some kind. Please implement it because its a bunch of cry babies playing league of legends that need to grow a backbone.

I believe the penalty is a loss.

The difference/penalty is in your win rate.

In ranked, I've won 10 games against teams that surrendered, and lost only 6 games by surrender. People who surrender too soon will have a a score that's the opposite.

There is already a penalty for those that surrender. A loss.

Like most everyone else is saying, Surrendering incurs a loss, which is in and of itself a penalty. They don't need to be hit with a punishment if they're willing to take the L without making the game itself worse.

Please implement it because its a bunch of cry babies playing league of legends that need to grow a backbone.

Also, with all due respect; don't call the kettle black, pot. You call people "crybabies" for wanting to shorten an ostensibly obvious loss so they can move onto the next game and maybe have a better shot at winning it, and then, proceed to whine and complain about them on the boards.

I'm pretty sure the ones Surrender voting aren't the ones who need to grow a backbone.

You shouldn't be complaining. The surrender vote already favours those that vote no. For a surrender vote to be successful a super majority (4/5 at least) is required to vote yes. If you're frequently seeing successful surrender votes of four yeses then maybe the problem is you. In my games surrender votes are rarely successful.

so if you press no, literally all of your other teammates need to press yes for the surrender.

so why should 4 people be forced to play a game because 1 dude still wants to continue, especially a Normal.

also, you also play normals.. ofc players will tend to ff more often there.

if you don't want to be bothered by surrenders from your side, play Ranked.
