Veigar Vs Syndra

this comparison confuses me

Veigar is not nearly as good a lane bully as Syndra

Veigar has better (funnier) quotes, but both champs get boring soon.

veigar eventually outscales her but syndra has a more healthy curve throughout the stages of the game and goals to accomplish.

veigar has better potential overall, but hes more extreme on both spectrums, he flops or is a tiny little monstrosity.

Veigar, since he provides better CC in teamfights to disrupt the whole enemy team. Even though he doesn't have the best early game, it's not like any games will end before 15 minutes which is when he can 100-0 a target pretty easily. Syndra on the other hand is better at going in, killing a single target, and then getting out really fast.
