Lane Assignment Feature
As everybody knows the biggest problem LoL faces is the people who use it. People who argue and harass other players and creates a miserable game environment for everyone else. A lot of the time I see this starting in the champion select. A little argument starts over who called what roll and it escalates and escalates until everybody's cussing out eachother and their mother. The problem with this is a lot of the time when two people call the same roll BOTH of their screens will say they entered the chat first and they called it first. So they both think the other player is causing a problem and that starts an argument that escalates. Even if it didnt say they called it first some players choose to ignore this and lock in and "steal" the lane. This causes all sorts of rage and complications and will ruin a team before the game even starts. I think a very easy solution to this would be to have a lane selection before you can select your champion. Kind of like in Team Builder. Soon as you join the room you have 5 options: Top, Jungle, Mid, ADC, and Support. Once a summoner selects one of these options it becomes unavailable to the other summoners. If someone wants a duo top it's only an option if no one has selected jungle. There also has to be a way to change your roll or trade with other players directly. That way nobody can argue or deny who got what lane. True there's no way to enforce this in game, and if people chose to ignore it and do what they want then everybody would be able to see who's causing the problem and report that player. Granted this doesn't happen in team party's or in a professional situation, but for the average player (which is where most of the money comes from) this can be one of the most frustrating things that'll happen in league. My solution isn't perfect, but it'll help stop a ton of the arguing, and make it easier for the tribunal to recognize who's causing the problem.
