Riot's cracking down on AFKS INTS AND TROLLS!

I have to give Riot some complements for once. Lately I've been getting a lot of afks, trolls, and intentionally feeders. But, after every game I report them and within 5 minutes or less I get feedback that they've been punished. Soo, with that said your reports matter. :D

reports do matter. sometimes it just has to be more then just one random report... if someone is reported enough in a giving amount of games/time they are dealt with...

I've actually tested this and when you receive the message, nothing actually happened to the person you reported.

It's just there to make you feel better.

i disagree. i see all too often my 2-11-6 support go unpunished despite not having sightstone, literally never saying a word, ignore all pings, be taking bot lanes farm after 20minutes cuz the ADC is dead, and die repeatedly when they shouldn't.

well, you cant punish someone for sucking.

big difference between sucking, and just bringing a "i dont give a crap" attitude because, i look at my whole teams records, and its not that they consistently do this, or this is an off game, i can see they put out or are capable of thought from their match history, its not like they're bronze. but its that they are actively ruining this game because they feel _____

Buying or not buying a sightstone or even following current mainstream meta is not grounds for being disciplined. See #5 on the Reporting a Player page. However, a player can get in trouble for pushing it too far - especially if they don't pre-warn their teammates (remember Support Singed?).

they're high enough to know better, if you look at their history you would understand and you're left screaming "wtf". here they are using ranked for a trial and error run instead of normals/bots/custom.

pffft, w/e I've played probably a thousand games and have only EVER seen this happen ONCE in the hundreds of reports I've made.

I've seen it happen for abusive chat, trolling, inappropriate names, repeatedly saying in chat "report xxxx for yyy", etc. Sometimes it comes down to not just clicking the report buttons - but taking the time to write down in the response box what the player did wrong (in 100 characters or less :p ). Oh, and I should add: making sure that the response box comment is actually written in a coherent and decipherable manner.
