New Ranked is frustrating

Just seems like the occurrence of running into smurfs is higher than ever now. Playing against players undefeated in ranked with 5+ KDA isn't enjoyable it's frustrating. I'm sure I will be flamed and that's fine. I do pretty thorough research before I jump to a conclusion. People in my silver/gold elo don't win 37 out of 40 games with 8 KDA.... and yes that's a real example.

I guess I'm wondering if other people are experiencing that this season - maybe more than normal like I am? Or maybe this is just a beginning of the season thing? I don't know at this point I just know it's not wearing well on me.

My ranked games feel heavily stacked, too. Just, uh, In my favor for some reason. I think I have like an almost 70 percent win rate for no reason. I'm climbing rapidly to platinum and I've never been above silver before. I think I might have to agree something is off somewhere. The people I played with would often be like unranked or bronze or something weird. Then my team would stomp regardless of me, and I'd get like 30 LP. It probably makes me look like a Smurf to other players or something at a glance, so maybe you're getting the other end of some if this imba post-preseason matchmaking.

It is that way in Iron and bronze also. The higher elo have came down because ranked is screwed in all divisions, they do not want to mess up there main accounts KDA by being stuck with gold or plats in masters. It is messed up all across the boards.

agreed, sometimes when games are absolute stomps on one side i go to do a background check. Multiple times i find teams that are all below 50% winrate and others all above 50% winrate. I get that its just winrate and not their actual ranks but its just a large coincidence that ive seen this so many times
