What if you won at game at, say, 96 lp, you overcapped on LP. What I mean by this is instead of going up to 100 flat, you can overcap to like 116 LP. This bonus LP would protect you from losing a lot of LP in your series if you lost a game or two, and if you won your series the extra LP would carry on to the next divison. Thoughts?

Could be interesting. If you overcap by more than the amount that is taken out by failing the series, it can put you back in series instead of making you do another series right away kinda thing?
The carry over sounds interesting for sure though in any case.
It's a good idea, Heroes of the Storm does something similar, "banked points". In that game it is possible to lose at 100 points and still be in promos. Wouldn't be the worst thing to see it in this game.
