Looking for Help
Hello, My name is Ruin. I have come here in the hopes that high elo players will help me problem solve. I would appreciate detailed posts. I will try to coherently state my problems if I do not feel free to ask me to clarify.
Let me start by telling you a little bit about myself and my history in league of legends. I started league of legends in s4.13 shortly after yasuo came out. My first pvp match was summoners rift with lee sin my score was 4-9-3. We won. Hard to forget your first easy to forget every other one. Since then I have been banned 6 times, I own a total of 15 accounts and I have 1000+ ranked matches on 7 of them and a 100+ unranked on the rest. I have never made it past silver 1.
My first account was the longest lived It had every champion and between that account and my 2nd account I'd played Allmost every champion in the game atleast 20 times. Ones like khazix before his major nerfs I played 250+ times. I know every champion in the games abilites and even most of there passives by heart from experience. I even have a rough idea of how to build them all and Situationally I may not make the best possible purchase but it serves a purpose.
I got this experience because I wanted to find the champion and roles that suited me best. over the course of 4 years I continued rotating lanes and playing different champions. Jack of All-Master of none. So my champion knowledge is a non issue I know what to expect when im up against x champion and what to do when I play x champion in x role. I'd hoped that alone would grant me gold or even plat elo but as 1000s of ranked games have taught me thats not the case. I would even say since I most likely have the most ranked games played in silver in the world. I am the worst player in the world. I suppose that atleast holds some merit. Anyway.
In my strive to climb the ranked ladder, I've read and watched hundreds of guides about laning, slow pushing, warding, freezing, abusing cooldown, lane bullies, csing, champion mechanics, builds, counter items, champion counters, late game champions, mid game champions, early game champions, item powerspikes, strategy, split pushing, proxying, jungle routes, ganking, teamfighting, securing objectives, positioning, poking, abusing the meta, monitoring statistics from sites like champion.gg and nerfplz.com, reading every patch note, playing safe, playing aggressive, I've even read guides about staying positive and keeping a clear head. I'm sure you get the idea by now. I've also reached out to professional players asking them to spectate my games and explain to me in detail what I did wrong. They asked me to open my wallet. I have nothing in my wallet. My wallet is made out of duct tape.
So after maining many different champions and roles repeatedly in sort of a cycle and still failing I decided to stop playing, I was very reluctant to. But for my effort and no return it was just too much for me to bare. I also have no friends in league, I never had friends in league I did my 4 years alone. When you try to make friends in league it often ends after one bad game. It may have been easier if I did, friends are good at keeping eachothers spirits up.
I returned a few days ago and made a new account to have a fresh start its currently level 20. I thought I'd main adc because I believe it has the best late game carry potential and early game like draven isn't really my style. I'm more of a vayne, i'd say twitch but i don't really like how easily he can be dived on without proper protection. I like mobility and play making potential. Anyway, so i thought if I could master adc I could easily climb to atleast gold. I have played every adc atleast 20+ times but adc was probably my least played role in the rotations i previously mentioned. I'm good at it, i'm just not exceptional. I can kite, atk move click, i've had games with near perfect csing for the entire lane phase missing only 1-10, hard to cs in matches ups against sona and caitlyn or similar poke comps. I know how to trade in lane etc.
Heres the problem and when i started this account I didn't even consider it. Solo queue supports. I've had a tryndamere support, annie support stealing my cs, malz, brand, veigar, aniva and every single support i've gotten picked fill or got autofilled to it. People who don't actually want/know how to support and don't know bot lane compositions. So there being aggressive against a composition that has the early game advantage or passive when we have the early game advantage. Etc. So I tried to find someone who is of a similar skill level as me, mains support and plays as often as I do. To no avail so now im at this point where I just don't know what to do.
Before I continue i want you to know why i've wasted 4 years of my life trying to climb. It's not for the accolades, it's not for the bragging rights. I want to climb because I want to play with the best players in the game. I want to experience team fights on that level. I want to join a queue and ''Oh hey its boxbox''. I want to be a part of the high elo community because plays made at that level are beautiful and I want to make those plays with them and savor every moment.
I don't want an easy way out if I wanted the easy way out I would of gotten boosted after my first 1000 ranked games. I want to earn it and deserve to have a place among them. Thats why i never stop playing. I keep trying over and over and over. Even when i quit I knew it wasn't going to last. I didnt even uninstall league because i knew in a month or two i'd be right back here doing it again. I'll never quit. League will be a part of my life until it's gone or I am.
I need someone to tell me what to do, because I don't know what to do. I have all this motivation and determination to climb and nothing to direct it to. I feel like i've read and watched everything i can. Like I've done everything I can, but if that were true then why am I still silver.
What champion(s) should I play. Why should I play them. Where should I play them. Pro's and Con's. Level of reward for time invested. and If any high elo player is interested in spectating and evaluating my games and offering feedback let me know. No, I don't have money. But atleast you could say you turned me into a high elo player. It's hard to give me advice when you don't know what my weaknesses are and I don't even know them myself. If there is any information you need from me let me know.
