I feel like the pool duration should be lowered to 2.5 seconds and the damage increased because who's actually going to sit in the pool for 5 seconds and take the full damage?

Indeed. 25% max health - even 30 - is only potent when you have the burst damage to back it up. 500+1.5AP+30%max health does not, ever, equal 100%.
Get rid of the pool and give us his old ultimate kthx.
No no no!!! His damage comes from his w now. You E and W someone then ult them and they die... EZ! I dont know why people are getting so mad at this.
