This demote system is broken

Everytime I get close to promo games, I end up coming in losing streaks which ends up into a demote. Yes, one could argue that it is my fault, or, you could also say that it's because my team has already fed them 20 kills in the first 5 minutes or the intentional trolls (yes, I also have been reporting people the whole morning and some got penalized) that make you lose games already. My point is, if you get troll/bad teams all the times, why should you get demoted even though your grades are good??

well why are you winning 50% of the time against "lesser" players

maybe its just your current skill level and the game is trying to tell you to improve if you want to climb...

the better question is why are you playing predominantly with gold 2 ~ plat 4 players.

#maybe you should be closer to plat5/gold1 rank instead of plat 2

I find that winning streaks and losing streaks are the common fare for my games: promoting or demoting multiple divisions is the norm. I would prefer to either be stable in a division or to experience slow advancement, but that just isn't the case.

As to why you deserve to be demoted when you get what you call "troll/bad" teams but have good performance scores, the answer is simple: performance scores don't fully reflect your understanding of the game. Chances are you were promoted after getting awesome teammates, but having awesome teammates isn't really a test of you as a player.
