Zyra rework, really?

I was actually really excited about the Zyra rework. I mean, seedlings automatically appearing? That sounded awesome. And then I can understand that her plants don't last as long and die faster.

BUT I don't know if it's just me, her E (grasping roots) is really hard to land now. Does it move slower than it used to? It seems SO EASY for the enemy team to dodge it now. I'm landing about 2/8 of them, where before I would land 9/10. Or is there a longer delay between casting it and it actually starting?

Either way, she isn't as fun any more, and definitely seems a lot less powerful.

Dude, I just recently laned against a Zyra mid a while ago. She always had 2 plants up all the time and when 3 of my team mates were at mid, she waited and got about 7 of her plants up at once and made my team back off from taking her tower by herself. She hurts the entire laning phase even when I built heavy on MR and she was way behind. It might just be her play style changed and you may want to practice more with the new Zyra in normals.

She is actually pretty strong Suffers from the immobile mage syndrome, but still better than b4

I feel like the snare speed is the same as before, but the collision detection on it seems to be broken and inconsistent. Please visit this discussion on all the ways the changes to Zyra are more of a nerf than a buff: http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/1G1j1nFv-zyra-changes-patch-69-huge-nerf-why

I like new Zyra.

Played her support and always had 4 seedlings between me and the river to disway ganks. Plus i got their support even while he was under his tower with a well placed Q and ranged plant.

Ok, I've played her a few more times now. I effectively dueled against an Ahri. She was brought down from full health to dead. I was left with 3/4 of my health. I think I was levelling my abilities in not the optimum way with her new passive. I used to max E first, then W, and Q last (because I wanted the root to last longer, and then I wanted more plants). Now I've found if I max E first, and then Q second, she has a lot more damage, and the difference in cooldown for the seeds is not really worth maxing W for.
