MP VS MR scaling

Something that I have noticed for a while is the magic penetrations (MP) scaling versus the amount of magic resistance that can be built. At least, I think it needs to be looked at. In comparison to Lethality (which is armor penetration that now scales,) MP does not scale, There are also far fewer MP items as well in comparison to the volume of both Lethality and armor penetration items reducing the number of options an AP has to counter large volumes of MR. I would like to see more build options made available for AP's against MR. Anyone else's views and insights on this matter are completely welcome.

There's not much MP because there's not too many champs that get MR per level.

Compare also the amount of armor items to the amount of magic resist items, you'll see a difference, you can build easily upwards of 390-430 armor while if you build mr, you'll see you usually get under 300. Void staff also works on base armor pen, so mages have that. Many mages build mpen boots, have 8 pen in runes and 3+ in masteries. they also sometimes build liandry's so you get more than needed to kill squishies and do dmg to tanks alike.

You should take a look at champions base armor vs base MR.

For example, Cait has 30 base MR at 18. That same Cait has over 80 base armor at 18
