So what's up with ranked MMR?

So I've noticed here recently in multiple ranked games of mine, my team will consist of low to mid silver players and we're getting matched up with multiple players from mid gold to low plat from last season. Not sure why there is such a big disconnect between teams and apparently skill level. I don't mind those types of players in my game as it helps me try to improve mine, but when one team is so heavily stacked compared to the other (which shows highly in game) it's kind of ruining the fun of it.

Anybody else noticing this? Any word from riot to fix it?

Yeah. I had the same kind of game. http://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=shenpainoticey0u Go on the Ranked tab and look for my lulu game where I did 5-2-8. take every name in note and Go on lolking then see 1 by 1 what ranked was our team and their team in s4 and s5. I only did my placement last season but I never ranked till this season. We still won because we took so much objectif and my split push was very usefull.

Matchmaking is a mess currently, but this is intentional, they want to scare away as many players as possible. Probably they don't have enough servers.

Happened yet again last game. As much as I was excited for the new season and to devote time to improving as a player and trying to get into gold or beyond this is a little ridiculous. I understand some games will be harder than others, but for so many games over the last week to of been like this is a little out of control, not to mention the lack of bans and horrible balancing going on this patch. I miss the tank meta when it felt like we had more choice of items/champions.
