It seems as though the new lethality system is only going to apply to the AD assassins. So far the only assassin items getting changed are AD. Why won't the AP assassins be getting any new toys? Lich Bane could stand some changes as well as ludens. Just wondering is all.
Because Riot wants Zed Talon Kha and Rengar to have even more MR, and be able to one shot people still, while AP assassins can rot
The issue with the changing the way armor penetration works isn't to suit the assassins but rather to make sure ADCs don't abuse assassin items like they have been. That's not an issue with AP items which is why it's not getting changed at this point.
They already got decent itemization tbh
Yeah... All the new assassin items have unique passives and actives and encourage assassin play styles, meanwhile ap assassins have... Ludens...

But they introduce new items with AD and MR, while giving not AP items with ARMOR. Its almost like they want ap assassins to lose every AP v AD match up....
