So just now two people on the enemy team in my pbe game got sight stones i believe and dropped a metric but load of wards in their fountain creating zombie wards when they new wards killed the old ones and it made my game go completely unplayable as it was lagging all of us like we had 2000+ ping. It eventually disconnected me from the game but I cant speak for anyone else in the lobby.

Shuyin1781 votesIt was a bug to begin with, so no it doesn't do that. It's suppose to only give you a Zombie Ward when you destroy an enemy ward.
The Last Ballad1 votesWell they updated the Runes website, and it specifically calls out the fact that it creates on upon expiration, so even if it was a bug they must have accepted it being that way.
The exact quote is "Additionally, when your wards expire, they resurrect as Zombie wards."
