SOLO carry midlaner

WillHealForHonor··1 votes·1,256 views

Im thinking i need to learn some champ and then play them in ranked if im forced mid.. :P i know its not often but when it does happen i need to learn either

Azir Viktor Ahri Zed

My question is.. Who is the easiest to learn.. but also taking in to the fact that i need to be able so solo carry on my own.. that includes pushing down towers (maybe splitpush).. being able to Teamfight and not needing to much of a frontline.. Whos the best bet :D

if you are in a lower Elo I would stay clear of Azir, Zed, Leblanc and basically any mechanically challenging champions because if you get behind you will be booty fucked. Some really really good mid laners that are so so so easy include: Fizz : SO EASY.. I would say one of the best mid laners in this meta because if you get ahead you are unstoppable and can carry almost any game. Anivia : She isn't really played much in lower elo because people are silly. But she is SO POWERFUL. Great kit that packs a punch! Also.. you know.. a passive that turns you into an EGG.. Cassiopeia : A little challenging, but so so so strong. Katarina : at low elo she is Broken, unstoppable, and people will think you are actually Hitler.. Please master this red headed bitch. amazing team fight... killing someone = more spam able moves cause of cool-down..

You're play 4 and you don't know who good mid laners are to learn? And then you wanna say that to someone who's offering you advice? You need to check that attitude.

i guess sometimes u cant ask for advice without getting flamed some.. But i guess its my own fault for being extra sensitive with my text.. i need some :D :D :D :D and some kapparinos and such...

I would say pick your three favorite assassins and spam them in TB until you know them well. IMO assassins just have the best roaming potential and snowball very hard.

EDIT: I would include Ahri and probably Riven in this category as well.

im better with ahri than zed.. i suck balls in tfs with zed.. i actually thought i was gud with tf but i have around 50 percent winrate.. so i moved away from him.. and i cant relax when im playing him.. doesnt feel natural.. it did in normals.. but not in ranked..that being said many of my games have been vs yasuo..

honestly.. just learn Vlad. He is easier to play than all those other champs and is just as strong. He is short ranged and doesn't have any cc for when your jungler ganks but he is great at diving under tower for kills because his pool resets agro. Also he can safely farm up and scales by levels as well so if you're ever not feeling confident in a particular matchup you can still just play safe and farm/sustain with Q.

Isnt vlad considered a high skillcap champ? or am i missing something? I actually think im doing well with vlad.. And he can splitpush as well.. i know hes best as a teamfighter but yeah he seem like a great choice.. plus i like to play late game.. The thing is i often lose midlane if i farm to much.. and on vlad i wouldnt feel like i could help much early on in the skirmishes..

The thing is that i watch alot of lcs and i know alot about the midlaners atm but i have limited time to play in normals and i wanna ask some people with experience with those 4 midlaners.. and theres a difference between competetive and yoloQ.. so i wanna ask u guys.. who do U think is the best for YOLO carry.. :D THX..

Theres no way Vlad is high skill cap. I actually main him over the others because my computer lags and doesn't act perfectly in games and Vlad is one of the only champs that I can still play decently well despite my shitty computer. His combos are the same and easy to execute over and over and in a teamfight its still just the same shit... (Jump into enemy team, R E Q pool E Q zhonya E Q again) His early skirmish potential isn't as bad as people like to think it is either. You lack constant DPS because the cooldown on Q is high but you still bring a lot of upfront damage in a 2 v 2 or w/e. E + Q + ignite + pool will kill any person early game if they are around 40% health and your E would still be hitting both targets. While he's a great splitpusher people don't understand that he is an incredible duelist as well (although this relies on the enemy wanting to 1 v 1 you) At full build I've beaten a Jax in 1 v 1. You just kite around with E Q then when they are reallly going in you pop your ult + ignite. Anyways there are only like 3 champs in this game that can zone vlad from a minion wave effectively.. fiddle, swain, and maybe LB. In any other matchup Vlad can hold his own and will eventually start winning his lane by a little around lv 7 then moreso by lv 9. I love the vampire

ignite seems risky imo

Oliver Trist1 votes

ignite is amplified by his ultimate. Also youre talking about yolo carrying.. ignite lets you yolo carry

WillHealForHonor1 votes

ok nice i didnt think of that.. thx dude.. But if u do the math isnt the amplification only 50 or so dmg? :D

Oliver Trist1 votes

Yes its not much but... as far as early trades go and all inning at lv 6 its enough to help pick up the first kil against your opponents.......... JUST DO IT

WillHealForHonor1 votes

i started playing him.. i actually feel like hes very very broken atm.. Even when i get behind i feel like i have a chance in the game with my op ult.. And i actually carried a game 4v5 ranked.. Very nice.. I like that vampire.. Im gonna learn him now for real..

Oliver Trist1 votes

I converted one.. success

Oliver Trist1 votes

just remember you cant press E right after you ult. Theres a small delay... like 0.5 sec. good lcuk

WillHealForHonor1 votes

I have won 5 out of 6 in ranked by now.. One game i have carried 4v5.. But the rest of the games i feel like i got lucky.. That being said that when i feed i feel very usefull in teamfights still.. thats why i like him.. But i have some things i cant get right.. i cant farm with him.. I miss too much because i harrass alot.. U got any tips for that? I also seem to very very very slow.. i have flash ghost for him because ofn that.. but i still feel like im just too slow.. is it positioning? And the last thing is that i cant really ult and then follow up in lane.. they just run.. obviously.. u got any tips?

farming is extremely easy with him. He has a bad auto attack animation but you get used to it after awhile. Just Q the cannon creeps and E/auto whatever is low. I mean early game is cooldowns are pretty high so you should be able to focus on minions + harassing, just gotta get used to the champion I guess. Also a lot of new vlad players like to keep his E at four stacks early game. DONT do this as youll be losing a lot of health from it. Come mid game or right before a big fight start stacking it up but early game just keep it as is. Yes vlad is slow as shit, some guides opt for MS quints but still AP/scaling cdr are better. A drawback of vlad is that he can't all in like a Zed can.. basically zed can all in when he wants but vlad doesn't have the kit for that. there are a couple ways around this though. first off if you have an edge on your ooponent then just zone them if u can from the cs.. its just as guess. Another thing, assusming u take ignite and you're feeling confident, then you can flash in Ult+ignite+Q+E. people say vlad doesn't have "burst" but if you do tht combo fast enough it will kill most champs. Most important thing you have to do though is cast spells and move with your opponent. Remember old ryze where he could spam spells but he had to click and follow the target to, sorta like an adc? Its the same thing with vlad. In a big teamfight and you do your rotation of E+Q you need to keep moving and stay in the middle of them assuming you aren't being focused. That way your E hits everyone and you can keep doing damage. Aright go beat some noobs.. im sure I told you enough (btw when I get the time im going to make an intensive VLad guide.. you better upvote that shit plz)

Azir and Zed are the hardest to learn. Viktor is great if you can aim his death laser properly. Ahri is the safest pick by far though. TONS of mobility to get around the map and help your team win. The only thing you have to learn with her is landing the charm.
