Queue time: 19 minutes and counting.
Without a single afk check for a lobby. Now over 20 minutes of waiting for a single join attempt.
This is absurd. Please fix your terrible matchmaking, Riot.

Mid/top, I'm not even that surprised. I had once waited 23 minutes with that roles combination. I switched to top jungle, much better, but still it can take 10 minutes. Tbh, I'd rather had old champion select where I would wait 2, max 3 minutes. Yes, I wouldn't get my desired role every time, but playing something different from time to time was breaking stagnancy. Also, I never, ever had to play my worst role in ranked, that is adc, even as last pick. Magical sentence 'I can't adc' at the beggining of champ select made people just leave me any other role than adc. Playing support from time to time because I got last pick was even a bit of a pleasure. Maybe I'm in minority, idk, but i liked old champ select and pick order more than what we have now.
i see so many people complain about this but there's something useful called restarting the damn queue. have you seriously never thought of that or do you just see it as another reason to bash riot so you purposely don't restart the queue?
Does Riot even give a shit anymore? Or are they too busy counting cash?
Also, the fact that you had to specify as "another reason" should tell you that my frustration is warranted.

It was fine back when queues were 45 seconds, but now that they're anywhere between two and twenty minutes I should be allowed to pee without fear of losing my position. I don't mind long wait times, I mind having to sit at my computer for those long wait times.
you can fix it if you just put support
change it to bot supp and / mid and watch as your queue time lasts for 2 seconds
Stop the queue and restart it. Usually works.
Finally decide to give in and set secondary to fill. Immediately gets Support. Top and Mid both feed.
